The FlightCrew™ 5 Expandable Carry-on Spinner combines the most requested components from pilots and crew members in a carry-on built for professional use and sized to fit in the overhead bins of most domestic carriers and some regional aircraft. Commercial-grade construction ensures lasting durability, while thoughtful details stay one step ahead of your needs. A zippered expansion option adapts when you need it, adding up to 2” more packing capacity on demand.
Stay organized and keep essentials within reach using two exterior front pockets, padded laptop and tablet sleeves, and a reinforced gusseted back pocket for quick-access items. Inside, ample packing space is strategically arranged with a mesh pocket and garment flap in the lid, plus one top and two side mesh pockets and adjustable hold-down straps to keep contents in place. When expanded, place heavier items low and near the back panel to help maintain balance and stability.
Constructed with high-density 1682d ballistic nylon fabric coated with water-, stain-, and abrasion-resistant DuraGuard®, this carry-on spinner is built to withstand rigorous, daily use. Reinforcements include a kick plate, corner guards, side feet, and superior screw construction. Heavy-duty #10 main compartment zippers hold up under pressure, and innovative anti-crush technology helps prevent denting of the extension handle tubes.
Equipped with the full Travelpro® PrecisionGlide® System, this spinner delivers precise control and effortless roll. MagnaTrac® self-aligning spinner wheels keep the bag rolling straight without drifting or pulling to one side. The rugged PowerScope Extension Handle minimizes wobble and adjusts to three user-friendly stops—38", 40", and 42.5"—for optimal comfort at any height. The patented Contour Grip with cushioned touchpoints provides superior comfort and control in either hand and helps alleviate fatigue in the shoulder, arm, wrist, and hand. A recessed push-button prevents accidental activation.
Note: The add-a-bag strap with aluminum J-hook is not included and not recommended for use with spinner luggage. Use the extension handle for stacking multiple bags.
